Default Mickey Thompson Classic Locks

I just talked to the folks at Mickey Thompson and they plan to release these in a 17x9 with 5x5 bolt pattern late June. The problem is they are going to have a 5 inch backspace and I am reading that to run 35x12.5s you need 4 1/2 inches. Can anyone comment if these will work or not? Whats odd is that their Classic IIs in 17x9 have 4 1/2 inches of backspace. I don't understand why they changed for the Classic Locks.

I have been waiting on these wheels also but the backspace threw me off. Also quadratec shows to have them on there site.

I don't have MT wheels, but I'm running 18x8.5's with 5.25" backspacing and haven't had any rubbing issues.
