Default Mickey thompson baja claws.

Hi. Any one have the baja claws. Getting 35's soon and love the looks of these tires. They are also designed to match my sidebitter wheels. Thanks for the input

Is there anyone that is running baja claws. Besides being directional , any other cons?

The MTZ is a more friendly daily driver tire and has almost the same sidewall with sidebitters. The New TTC claw is slightly different.

I love mine they hold great in mud and on the rock but they don't hold very good in reverse which never bothered me!

I agree. Also keep in mind the Baja Claws are offered in a bias ply and a radial version. You don't want the bias ply tires on a daily driver. The Claws are a good tire and my only personal problem with them is the directional tread pattern.

I'm being offered a set that I am *told* has 500 miles on them (sure it's probably a bit more) for $1000. I think that's for a set of 4. What do you think?

All that being said- I have no complaints about these tires and if I could snag a set of 33s then it would be done.[/QUOTE]

I drove a rig running those tires over the rubicon. They didn't hook up too well in the rocks. I was dissapointed. They are supposed to be ok on road. I've heard they dig in snow rather than float (like my Krawlers do).

If you really want the sidebiter look of the claws without the directional tread, MTZs will fit the bill.
