Postwheel, can you give more info on your location, intended use (daily driver, rocks, trails, mud <clay, soup, sandy>, sand, gravel, snow...? Are you getting a quote on radials, or bias ply (they at TOTALLY different tires)?
I've seen these do pretty well in the rocks, but will start slipping at some point. There were a few Jeeps in my club (in SoCal) with the radials in 35s and 37s. There were several slashed sidewalls in sharp rocks (Sledgehammer - Johnson Valley), but not as many as the BFG M/Ts (which had really thin sidewalls). If the rocks weren't too big, and it was not wet or icy, they did great. I've read that the radials run a little smaller than other brand in a given size. I hear the bias ply's are more true to size and tough as nails. I'd avoid them if you're in wet or icy country. They really do well in regular old soft dirt!

There is a Baja Claw Radial and a Baja Claw Bias Ply tire. I run a set of the Radials and I love them. I have put 15000 miles on them and the are about half tread. They run great in the desert and I haven't had any problems running 75 down the highway either.

I have had them on my Jeep for 5,000 miles. They ride good on road. They sound dam good on the highway. This first set of mud tires I have ever had. I have had hardly any wear on them. I am gonna rotate them in the next 500 miles, myself. They go like hell forward in the mud. They sling mud everywhere all over your jeep. Someone told me I would have problems backing up in the mud, but I haven't had any. I will probably get another set of them when these wear out. I plan to just rotate front to back and not swap sides. Leave the new spare tire on until needed. What the problem with them when it rains? When I run thru standing water on the highway it seems safer than regular radial tires.
