Ok so I have one Overland fender (passenger front) installed. Took a little longer than I thought it would and you need to remove the factory rocker guard (Rubicon)...but I got in to go grab a new socket and my check engine light, ABS, Sway bar disco, ESP, brake light and traction control lights are all on and my speedo is at zero. No idea what I could have broken or disconnected just by taking the fender flares off??? Anyone ever run into this?

Yes, and that is actual lift.

Actually I wanted the rake since my JK is an overlander. Once loaded with gear, it will level out.

So here's what's funny about your question. My previous kit actually was a Rock Krawler 3.5 lift. It just sagged to what a 2.5 kit would be. That's why I added the 1.75 spacer in the rear just to even it out. This Metal Cloak 3.5 is definitely a true 3.5 if not slightly over

Wheels are 16" Method Double Standards and tires are Goodyear MTRs in 315/75R16 which measures about 34.5 or so. The MTRs run a lot closer to advertised size than many other tires out there. Also they kick ass

Here are a couple closer shots of the tires and lift...

Check the battery terminal connections. Mine did that once but still drove. It was a loose negative connection.

Yes, I've the stock control arms and had to disconnect the track bar and drop the skid plate to get my 2.5 in coils in! I had to call my Metalcloak rep to make sure he sent the 2.5 and not 3.5 cause I was having trouble dropping the axle enough.

I'm installing the Duroflex kit so yes, all the control arms and front trackbar. I will say that MC could do a better job with their instructions. They basically ship the GC instructions with the Duroflex kit which I find just lazy. They give no measurements for the control arms as a starting point for the 2.5" lift.

I got the front done yesterday and will complete the back today. Then I will set the correct control arm lengths and the pinion and caster angles.

Here is a quick shot from the front completed. HUGE difference.

That looks awesome. Can't wait to get mine. I calculated what I think is a good baseline for the control arms and front track bar based on the information I had. I would be curious to see if the measurements are close to what you end up with.

Control Arms:

UF - 18 3/4
LF - 22 15/16
UR - 18 1/8
LR - 20 1/4

Track Bars:

Front: 32 13/16
Rear: ?

I couldn't calculate that because I don't know the stock length.

I was going to give you these figures if you were going to try to adjust BASELINE before install. That's why I asked. If my numbers are closee would it be possible for you to measure the factory rear track bar?

Thanks. Again it looks great!
