Got my new brake lines installed, first time flexing with Rancho 9000XLs 31/32s and the 2.5" coils, tore the driveshaft boot. Went with 3" bump stops during the install and still got about 2" of clearance with 35s from front fender bracket and the rear fender well. 37s should fit perfect. Already had Nemesis shock brackets on my wishlist due to that pic with the bending shock shaft and stock mounts but even with the shock body on the bottom they still hit the frame.
How long are driveshafts lasting with a torn boot?

Some people have reported moderate luck with keeping it greased. A few have mentioned packing grease in with their fingers while manipulating the joint. But to me, it seems like a huge mess, with layer after layer after layer of grease slinging up to the undercarriage. Better off just going ahead and replacing.
