Default Metal cloak 3.5 vs rock krawler 3.5

Okay so It begins again... I was set on metal cloak coils but now... I'm second guessing myself. I have a 2012 2dr jk with a 3.5 inch RC lift right now sitting at about 2.5.

I'm looking to upgrade my coils soon (next couple weeks)to either metalcloak or rock krawler and I was wondering what coils people are preferring.
I daily drive my rig and do hit trails often. I run trails that involve rock crawling and driving on fire roads. I want a nice ride that resists sagging and I'm going to be on 37s with a long arm kit before next winter too.

I would love input from someone that ran both if there's someone out there!

Thanks
Colby

Most of the responses you will hear will likely be from people that have been running the RK progressive rate coils. RK now has the triple rate coils and are no longer offering the progressive rates. Everyone that we have installed the triple rates for absolutely love the ride.

PM us if you would like pricing.

So triple rate > dual rate?? Does it basically do the same thing that metal cloak advertises? With the virtual bucket and abnormal amounts of flex? Hahah

Read MC coil explanation article. It explains progressive rate and triple or quad rate coils. Then choose.

Essentially yes but they also add a firm portion of the spring and a soft portion. This is what helps the ride quality.

The Metal Cloak coil free length is a little more than 1 inch longer than the RK Triple rates in the front and 1.5 inches in the rear.

So the MC coils give more lift correct?

Since you have the 2012 2 door JK the RK springs will give you close to 4" of lift. I can not comment on the Metal Cloak since we do not work with their products as often. We have done tons of RK stuff so we have a pretty good idea as to the amount of lift you will see based on what your profile tells us about your current build.
