Any help would be great. My jeep is 2013 jkur with rk 2.5 with all arms. I have a trussed front ankle and the other usual mods. I am running 35 bfg AT (older tires) on 18 inch rims. Other jeep has dick creek fun county tires that are 37s on a 17 inch rim. So he needs money and he offered to trade tires/wheels plus I give him a grand. He said there about 20000 miles on them and they do look good.

1. How does the deal sound?
2. His his tire a good MT?
3. so would I need additional modification to pull this off to where my jeep will be reliable off roading and a good daily driver.
4 would I have to make adjustments to my lift. I don't want to turn this into pandora box. Thanks in advance for Any help. Doug

I personally wouldn't. If you want new tires I'd just get new tires. If you have 4.10 gearing you could get by but if 3.73 probably want to regear. Also go with flat fenders. Your auto correct is making for some humorous reading.

Default Tire, Wheel Deal

New tires are always the best way to go. Even if you keep the 18 inch wheels you are running, you could get a good new set of aggressive tires for under $1000.00

I would not run them with stock gearing. They are a decent tire.

Adding 37s without current and future modifications will be opening Pandoras box.

Indeed!

35's seem to be the stepping off point before the real upgrades start if you want things to live. Pandora has a really big box when that route is chosen. A JKUR on 35's done correctly is a stout machine.
