Default MBRP XP vs. Dynomax VT cat back exhaust systems feedback wanted

Considering upgrading my exhaust...narrowed it down to the MBRP XP and Dynomax VT. Don't need an "off road" system because I'm not doing any rock crawling and bashing the muffler is not a concern. Plus I don't want to deal with any heat issues with the "off road" muffler location. Therefore the stock muffler location will work fine. Also not looking for something that sounds like a trash can with pipes. Seems both these exhausts fit my needs and offer similiar performance and MPG gains. Any feedback on the two systems above would be greatly appreciated. Also...I live in sunny San Diego where bad weather (corrosion) is NEVER an issue...so aside from looks can anybody think why I should spend an extra $100-150 for stainless steel as opposed to aluminized.

can't go wrong with either brand. i went with the dynomax off road kit, the dynomax has a nice rumble to it and i hear nothing at highway speeds. I've heard mbrp kits are a little louder and some people have said they sound "ricey" or "raspy" .

3 years ago I had a custom cat back built at a local muffler shop. These guys do a lot of high end hot rods, and take pride in their work. Got a Flowmaster dual out 40 series. Improved power and sounds great. For 3 years my in house mechanic at work thought i had a hemi until a couple months ago he got a look under the hood. Not raspy, not ricey.

$300 out the door.
