Default MB Razor Wheels...

I was looking around at Discount Tire and came across the MB Razor Wheels. Here is a pic...

I was wondering if anyone here had a JK rolling them. The 15x8's are a great price at $73. It's a nice looking wheel to be so inexpensive.

Thanks.

Hate to break it to ya, but I found the same deal and thought it was great untill i found out they have a negative offset and wont work on our jeeps... Im not too sure about this kind of stuff, but I ended up getting the soft 8's with 4 inches of backspace

I'm more inclined to blame the small diameter (15")& alloy for the no fit situation. Steel wheels are hit & miss in this size. The extra thickness of an alloy cross section will land to the inside of the 15" dimension, making it too tight for the caliper regardless of b.s. or offset. Is ther no 16" version of this wheel?

This is incorrect. a negative offset will most likely result in less backspacing which is what you need. It's postive offset that you want to stay away from for the most part. For example a factory Rubi wheel is 17x7 and has 6.25" of backspacing which means it's about a +57 offset.

Here, this chart will help.......

you just need to order a -6 offset they will work fine, but still suggest going to at least a 16"

Just ordered 15x8 with 19mm offset. They were test fitted at discount tire and cleared just fine. Only remaining concern is if they will be able to get the balancing weights on the inside of the wheel. There was about 1/4 to 1/2" clearance with the caliper.

The tires are on order and will be in early next week. FYI- According to the guy at the store, the razor and the mb 72 are pretty much the same size.

Got everything installed yesterday. Only issue was the tape on weights hit the calipers, so the needed to stack them differently.

The tires and rims looks great. I can notice a difference in power with the 35's, but its not to bad. The KM2's are quiet and smooth!!

I will post pics this weekend.
