Default maybe a dumb question...but need to know about tire/wheel size and speedo calibration

I have the stock 17" moabs with the 255/75/17 SR-As right now and will be getting 16x8 rims with 5" backspacing with either 285/75/16s or 265/75/16s (Still can't figure out if 285s will fit without rubbing with no lift or spacers ) and I need to know if making that change will cause my speedo and odometer to be off. If so, how much? Thanks!

Is that the exact thread title? I couldn't find it. And there are so many posts about backspacing it gets confusing. ha My problem (well, shouldn't say problem ha) is that I am not running a lift. Just getting 16x8 rims with 5" backspacing with the stock suspension and need to know which size tires to get. I'm down to either 265/75/16s or 285/75/16s. Man this is all confusing. There are thousands of posts on this topic and I still can't figure it out.
