That 85lbs sure would have been nice!
Didn't you read post #3?
I'd hate to think you don't read all the posts in your own thread.

Ive been running 285/75r17 Terra Grapplers for about 2-3 months now on my '13. They are about 65 pounds a piece plus the stock rim. They are mounted on the stock tire carrier now and i'm starting to second guess it. The hinges creak and I can feel a lot more resistance than the stock tire when the tailgate is opened. Might be looking into a body mounted carrier or just strap it down in the trunk and go the tramp stamp route or something soon.

I'm running a heavy setup. 17x9 steelies and 35's.
using stock tire carrier with a set of reinforcement brackets that remove the factory welded nuts.
Rattles only on bad roads, othey then that mines holding up well. 2010 2 door.

I assume you have the MBRP brackets, I too had them, note "HAD" them -- they do nothing to hold the gate skin's layers together. Keep a watch out for busted welds.

Been running a 35" km2 on the back of my 2012 since it was new. Never had an issue. Tire and rim weigh 100lbs. Must be lucky. lol!
