On a side note about the automatic/3.8, once the tranny reaches operating temperature the torque converter locks up pretty quick, so it acts like a manual when locked - IMO I think Chrysler's programming was all about getting the best cruising mpg's in 2008 with the gas price spike.
I really feel the charts for the auto are off IMO, the charts for the Manual are spot on to utilize the 3.8 torque/HP curves. Thanks for reading.
