Pods installed for your info.

They give the rear end a lift visually because of their tight to the body design.

You're right it defiantly give that Bumperette feel. Reminds me of my first Jeep the 93 YJ. I like them.

I laughed when I found this thread....why you ask? I am in the same boat and set up and I thought I was alone LOL! I am running RR XHD front as well and in the market for a rear. I have tossed up a few ideas:

1) Take rear off, run ORFab tire carrrier, install Evo D-rings
2) Cheap route would be ebay bumper tire carrier combo $575 (There's another thread here about it)
3) Suck it up and get the RR rear, steel would be the perfect match but i don't like the full with as well, go with the new bumper pods but it cost more (eventhough a rep here a while ago said it was going to be a cheaper alternative to the steel...not quite so).

Just some food for thought, but I once thought about saying "F it", I'll just take my rear off and put the EVO D-Ring mounts and call it a day too....until I said to myself, wait...there really isn't any bumper(which is illegal in my state to begin with) and the fact that if someone was to rear end me...YEAAAAAAA..........I would feel sorry for em. Granted, if anyone kinda rear ends you, its bad....but with no bumper, your frame rail ends are gonna do some big time damage.
