Master Overhaul needed at 5K?
I'm pulling the trigger on some gears today. If I'm only at 5k miles do I need a master overhaul kit?
I'm not too savvy yet on the whole gears topic but I don't want to spend money foolishly if it isn't necessary.

I'm sorry I can't give you a definate answer to your question, but I am curious to where you are getting your gears installed? I've been looking for a reputable shop in northern Illinois to do a gear swap, but I haven't come up with anything.
