manumatic?
This may be a really dumb question but could you give the auto transmission a manumatic (tiptronic) mode like they have in the sports cars. Not for driving the jeep like a sports car, but for better control of the vehicle.

This won't help you, but the auto transmission in the diesel JK's outside the USA is tiptronic.
Don't know why they wont let you have it in the US!!!!
