Default Magnaflow loudness?

My girlfriend wants to get a magnaflow system for her jk. She is looking at a blastin bobs system with a magnaflow muffler or something similar. However she doesn't want it as loud as my MBRP standard exit system. I was hoping someone who ha heard both can chime in please as to whether the magnaflow will be louder or quieter than the mbrp?

No other suggestions please. She is not going to relocate and has her mind set on a cheaper magnaflow system. No flowmasters either.

Why say it'll sound horrible? I had a magnaflow on my old wrx and it really smoothed out the boxer lope.

Find out what part number magnaflow she's looking at. If she finds the MBRP loud, I'm hard pressed to advise you on which to pick. I've heard both and found they were similar when the loud pedal was hammered down and just "burbly" enough at idle. One of my buds has the standard exit, I have a magnaflow "Frankenfit".

It should be a magnaflow 11236. Hope that helps.

I have a magnaflow muffler (not cat back) on my JK and I like the sound it gives. It's not too loud in neutral but gives a nice crisp growl in the lower rpm range. It's also fine at highway speeds. The soft top kinda drowns it out. IMO, mbrp is too obnoxious.
