Magnaflow full cat exhaust tip burning rear bumper
I posted this under another thread but thought it would work better over here.
So i have had my magnaflow full cat installed since sunday and at first i noticed the tip was very close to my bumper so i adjusted it a bit and still could only get maybe a quarter of an inch between the tip and the bumper. Today i noticed its touching the bumper again and has burned it. So I loosended it up and just cant seem to get it to hang lower. Anyone else run into this problem? The only solution i can see is if i get a longer rubber bracket (not sure what its called) to drop it a bit. thoughts?
these are 2 photo's of when i first installed it.

Unless you backed into a Lamborghini or Ferrari, I find that the only thing that will strike a car from the rear would be the spare tire...

I like the pipe, actually. Do you know the part # or where you bought it from? What size is it?

I like this one too. It's nothing like the one I saw last night on a ram. I've never seen such a large exhaust. This thing was bigger than semi truck exhaust, then had the last two feet enlarged. I could have tossed a grapefruit in there without hitting a side. Not to mention I'm pretty sure this thing was a gas engine. If it was desiel they have completely overcome the clackey thing. But back to this exhaust. It's big enough to do the doulbe wall tapered opening, which looks nice IMHO. Chrome may not get you home, but it does make it easier to find your jeep in the woods at night with a flashlight. (personal experience)
