Default Made up my mind finally ...... i think

after several weeks of making myself ill reviewing , looking and pricing tires and wheels my choice isssssss.............. 315-75-16 toyo open country mt and baja 8 steel wheels in 16x8 size. i was really going for trail grapplers and was also considering firestone mt as they have a huge plant only a few miles from my house And i was thinking i should maybe support them as they employ a lot of local folks , but in the end a coworker got the toyos on his dodge and they just look so freakin awesome Thats what i gotta git . they also had nothing but great reviews , all my choices did really . anyway whAt you guys think?

Get the Toyos they rule!!

I have the Toyo Open Country MT's 35x12.50-18 on XD Monsters and love them. They are relatively quiet but they are heavy since they are load range E. I run 34 PSI in mine.

my buddy said they are really heavy . sounds like a good excuse for a new rear bumper and tire carrier!

Threadjack, but was wondering how you totaled your Rubi? If it was while wheeling, did insurance cover it?

To the OP:
Just keep in mind that 35's on a stock, un-modded D30 is pushing your luck. Not a big deal if you don't plan to wheel it. If you do, probably at least want to get the C gussets. Axle sleeve would probably be a good move too.
