Default M8000 winch/Mile Marker MOSFET series

Considering this winch is going for 550 or less these days, how well is it pulling these heavier JKs? I assume it's not bogging it down too bad, but wouldn't mind hearing it from the users.

Also, anyone running the newer MM MOSFET series winches? They any good or real slow like most MM winches?

I don't hev the winch, but I'd assume an 8000 lbs rating would work.

As far as the MM MOSFET winch, I can't help you sorry.

I'd have to check, but I think the M8000 is also very slow. If you want speed for cheap, then check out Superwinch. At least according to the numbers. We all know how those can be manipulated.

I will definitely be getting the MM SX series when it is time. Probably.

I have been checking out the mile markers too. I really only plan on using mine when I have too. Which really kind of means I might not ever have to use it. So, I figure if it is slow it is still faster than walking home. The mile markers seem to be pretty good for the price. I don't know anything about the mosfet stuff but would be greatful of any info you dig up.

I have the Mile Marker PE8000 and I think it will do fine for my needs. I haven't had to use it yet, but for under $400 shipped with a receiver shackel bracket and D ring, I couldn't find a better price.

Trust me when I say you are going to be using it, and if you wont be then your friends sure will be. Line speed may not be that important for you, but recoveries can take a long time and the faster you get out of a fix the better.

I just got the summit racing 10,000 lb for 500.00.........No shipping charge, just a small overweight charge....... The winch, when you take off the stickers is actualy a T-MAX winch...... They also have great Mile Marker prices........
