LS muffler
So what mufflers are you guys running that have the LS engines. Finishing up my 6.0 install and time for exhaust so looking for suggestions. I have heard that the straight thru design of the Magnaflow work and sound good but which one?

Can't say about the LS, but on my Hemi I had a straight through 3" x 17" (or so) Flowmaster. It was mounted before the rear axle near the evap box. It came with the AEV conversion kit and was too loud for me, even cruising.
Eventually I had a local shop weld me up a stainless 3" pipe with a good steel (offset) muffler where the original stock muffler was. Much better. It has a nice quiet idle (can still tell there is a v-8 in it) and only gets loud if I romp on it. I noticed no loss of power.
You may find a straight through a little loud, depends on what you like. Perhaps you have more room under the 4-door for a longer straight through muffler than I had.

I had the LS obviously in my Silverado. The combo that sounded just awesome was high flow cats from summit racing and a straight through Magnaflow. Makes a V8 sound nasty! Can't imagine it won't sound the same on a jeep.

I can tell you the drone with a dynomax 18" is brutal. I'm over the winter doing an exhaust makeover with flow master setup but the important part is changing over from 3" round to 5" flat pipe back out to dual 2.5" to get as much clearance above the rockjock 60. I squished pipe lol and am running dynomax dumped just before axle and it sounds like it wants to kill when on the loud pedal.
