Agree 100%. I've had an 8 ball shifter knob since 2007. It's perfect and for some reason doesn't get slippery with sweat.

I drilled mine and just pushed it on. It's a friction fit and hasn't ever moved.

-whew! Sorry long post!

I lined it with carpet to cut down on the noise, and bolted a storage rack/panel with interchangeable hooks and baskets.
Anyone know how it'll fit in a 4 door?

I posted the specs on this thread. I would assume it would but better check with a tape measure before you commit

I couldn't be happier with it. I installed some LEDs inside and I have a gas strut installed as well to keep it open. I also ordered a rack for the top with I-hooks for strapping bags and stuff to the box while the top is down.

Default A 100 pages .......

Great Thread ---

Just finished reading the 100 pages in this thread, got several pages of notes and a file full of photo's/ideas for my 07. Got a question - is there a fix for the air leaks on the 2 doors, anything over 60mph sounds like there's a tunnel on both sides of the doors buy the windshield.

There is a replacement header for the soft top that fixes this. It's also a TSB.
