Will the plasti dip come off of the paint? I want to plasti dip my windshield hinges black, but want to be able to take it off without damaging the paint if I don't like it. Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes it will... its very easy actually. you can plasti dip you entire jeep and take it off back to original paint without worrying about a thing. i've done my wheels and grill . i took it off before selling and it was actually fun to take of ... like a sticker off of a new computer screen or something lol

Wish I knew about plasti-dip before I bed lined my grill. Not that I'm regretting it, but I might one day.

Like said, it comes off very easily. I have had my grill done for a couple months now. Just did the windshield brackets yesterday. Not the best pics, but you should get the idea.

Guy named OH9JK made some brackets for Harley mirrors to mount on the A pillars. Planning on copying his idea (or just seeing if he will make me a pair since he is local to me. ). I'm on my phone and don't have a link handy, but seems like he posted up something about it a while back.

Yep. Very easy and very little prep work. Just clean it up and spray it.

I'm just using the Rugged Ridge ones, because they look factory, and come with a piece to cover that huge hole left in the door when you remove the mirrors. The passenger side mirror will have at least half of it blocked from view when the door is on, but a small blind spot stick on mirror in the lower outside corner does the trick for me, and just leaning slightly to the pass side allows you to see the whole thing pretty much. That may aggravate some people, but trust me, it's WAY better than going through the steps to remove and reinstall them every single time you want to pull the doors!
