Another cheesy mod: If you ever replace the middle console of dash, the removed stock dash can be used as an in-Jeep lap desk for IPad etc. Here are some pics

Is the water in the mirrors fixed for 2012? Just washed mine for the first time and didn't notice any dripping, or does it have to build up in there over time?

I haven't noticed any problem on mine, but then I never noticed a problem on my '07 either.

My 07 streaks bad. Even from the front door handles.

Same with my '08. Door handles, mirrors, bumpers on hood, and wiper fluid nozzle. I just drive a couple miles, pull over and wipe the streaks dry.

Cheap/free mod... Had a baby mirror that I found in one of our other vehicles. Heh my boys are 7 & 10 ! That things been hiding a long time. Anyhow needed a driver side window mirror when going doorless and found this would work great.

From sitting in drive seat:

I found that I don't even need the elastic hook piece going behind the tweeter but just to make sure it stays in place I will use it.

I think the mirror is by "the first years". Since it is so old I have no idea if it's available but still could use the idea.
