I really want to bedline my fenders but I a little scared I'll mess them up. What kind of prep work did you do to them? How many coats did you put on? Thanks for the help.

Interesting.... I'll hit a couple of test spots, then try the bedliner if the color doesn't richen up enough.
Thanks!

I did the grill mod over the weekend. It cost me $18.67 for all the supplies at Lowes. I got a roll of black plastic gutter guard, zip ties, zip tie blocks and epoxy. I didn't want to use the sticky back part of the zip tie block becuase I was afraid the extremem cold and heat would loosen them. So even with the $5 epoxy, I still only spent 18 bucks plus change.

Love this mod!

Lol the day I went back to the dealership ( drop off loan letter ) there was a white Arctic 2dr in my old spot :( lol ! Of course I checked it out & it had color matched vent covers & handles ! Well ! Here we go $13 later ! I have the Jack Daniels edition white & black baby what you guys think ?
That's nice. I also saw an Arctic with the white interior pieces and thought of doing this. Are you going to do the steering wheel inserts too?

It's pretty hard to mess up. Prep includes first cleaning the surface. Next is masking off all surfaces you don't want to have bedliner overspray on. Then take a scotch brite pad and scuff up the surface (doesn't have to be perfect but it does help prevent the bedliner from flaking off). I used sheets to cover the wheels and hood. The hood latches will turn out the best if you remove them to be sprayed (took about 45 mins to mask both of them...). I decided to not do the door handles (seems like the didn't look as bad as the fenders. I also left the license plate holder alone (I got tired of masking) I used about 6 cans of spray to achieve the results I wanted, it was probably 3 solid coats. I love it and it is really easy to maintain (keep a spare can) if some chips off or is scraped off on a trail. If you want more pics I'll go snap some.

No I'm not , solely because my hands are all over it ! & I don't know how it would take the dirt & cleaning over n over again, I don't know how it would hold up ! The vents & everything else just sit there ! So in theory they should be fine ! My Jk is white ! I don't know how I feel With the white & that Arctic chill !
