I have been using one of those holsters for 2 years. Bought it for my Nano but found it sat to deep like your 380 does. But my G19 sits perfect.

Made homemade limb risers for less then 35$. ( i had cable )

Im pretty ballsy so i drilled 2 holes in my hood and added eye bolts. I had to drill 3/4 holes underneath the hood for the nuts to fit through. But you can also use steel brackets and put them underneath the hood latches.

I have not added the turn buckles yet. But somrone stole my 50" light bar so i had to improvise and make my light brackets useful.

Was out last night. They work great! Plus it keeps branches from hooking my hi lift. Which is nice.

The straps are about 6ft by 1inch nylon you can get from any camping store. They just run from the upper rear support to the slot on the tub. I twist mine to keep them from flapping. 1 set there. Another pair is used to strap the top corners to the roll bar once they are wrapped around it. Trimmed to length as needed. One on each side. If you zoom in on the photo you can see how the straps are installed and which direction to wrap the corner flaps. It's nice living in Tucson I can run it open 8-9 months a year.
