After reading nearly 4,000 posts in this thread alone, I have learned enough that I have decided this summer is the summer my JK transitions from the stock pavement rider to a real rig. Sunday, I'm installing my 2.5" BB (my most expensive portion so far), plasti-dipping my rubi rims black, plasti-dipping the shocks and dif covers red, chopping my front bumper, installing my custom made paracord grab handles, wiring in the side marker blinker mod and, if delivered on time, installing red LED floorboard lights on a dimmer switch. If it weren't for this thread, I wouldn't have began my project for years. Much easier to convince the wife when I show her how cheap everyone else has made it! Thanks for the posts! I will be posting some of my own ideas as soon as I have them!

I read the whole post as well (and started taking notes). I've had my Jeep for a few years, but never really had the time and/or funds to start doing much. There are so many great cheap/free ideas here that I can do a lot w/o spending a lot. Love it.

Welcome to the forum!

Default replying to post the list of items further down the thread

Here you go - this list is from the OP on page one - this thread started quite some time ago, so not all of the pictures show up nor do all of the links work anymore. it would be awesome to have someone go through this and filter the wheat from the chaff so to speak, but with so many, many posts it would be a time consuming chore indeed! Big Props to Master G who started this and everyone who has contributed from then on -
