There is a hole inside the vent it has to be at about 1 o'clock and then stick a flat screwdriver in it and it should pop out

Damn. Wish I known this 3 months ago that it was that easy. I had to take my entire dash apart!! Oh well. What's done is done.

I have seen header channels for sale that are beefier and supposedly reduce wind noise. Has anyone experimented with a modification of the stock channel to fortify it with any success? I thought of taking it apart and adding a strip of aluminum or something to the inside, but I haven't seen the inside and don't know if there is room for anything like that.

I haven't but there's always the plasti dip mantra: Try it, if you don't like it - peel it.

Just did mine. Not too hard to do and I like the way it turned out.

That looks great!!! I bought the color match mopar paint from quadratec and it looked like shit i scuffed everything with sandpaper and the paint still didnt stick that great it was extremely runny and just looked awful i used two cans and couldn't get it looking good and where I've sanded twice now they are a little rough so i figure plasti dip would hide pits

Looks great! I wanted to do this with my grill but I chickened out. I may try during my next plastidip go around. Did the tape removal come out pretty clean?
