I like this. Great for when I tow the boat. You have a write up on this?

Default IF you like fording water and mud...

... a 30amp relay at the fan and a kill switch in the cab is not a bad idea.

A few well placed blows of the hammer and finally removed the crush can. Now just need to clean the welds up and paint.

Are those the stock JK tow hooks?
I took the plastic off my bumpers and was wanting to put tow points where the bumper bolts to the frame (mine didn't have tow hooks)

It was as simple, took off the left brake light and spliced in with to the reverse. Ran the wire through the left wheel well and along the bumper.
Drilled the tow hitch and snaked the wire through from the back side of the bumper.

Total cost = $15 with lights from Harbor freight. (Sold as a pair, so I have a replacement)

Installed the light with self tapping screws through the light housing.

Took all of an hour. Best cheap mod I have done yet.

Best of luck

Yes, stock tow hooks.

Thinking seeing if front bumper would fit rear. Just need a second bumper if it does.

It's hot, but it's fine. I run the AC on the floor when it's too hot. Honestly, I only pull the front carpet when I'm going off roading. The rest of the time it's in. It's my dd'er.

My carpets pulled and floors bare for now (waiting to get the time to line it) and have had no issues. I am however still running my weathertech mats in the front so my shoes never actually sit on sheet metal. I remember touching the hump shortly after pulling the carpet and it was warm but not hot. 2 cents.
