The one I saw was useful for a fire and rescue volunteer. But still sounds quite handy for watering the plants on a daily basis!

Default Material question?

How did you use 36" material when your width is 44"? Also, is your 44" x 72" pre or post sewing?

Simple add for reverse light, self tapping screw in to the tow hitch

Removed the left brake light and spliced in with to the reverse. Ran the wire through the left wheel well and along the bumper.
Drilled the tow hitch and snaked the wire through from the back side of the bumper.

Total cost = $15 with lights from Harbor freight. (Sold as a pair, so I have a replacement)

Installed the light with self tapping screws through the light housing.

Took all of an hour. Best cheap mod I have done yet.

---Hardtop lift. ---You can buy the kit out of mags for 100s of dollars or you can go cheap like I did.

Measured hardtop
Found studs in ceiling
Installed 4 $1 I bolts bought from HD
I already had the tie down straps, but they will set you back 20 or so dollars.

I just back my 4 dr in the garage. Remove torx bolts, hook up the straps to the I bolts. It doesn't work quiet like a pulley. I do have to stand on the bumper and lift w one hand and pull the strap w the other hand.

4 dollars. Works like a champ. Been up there over a month now.

Getting it to come down slowly might be a pain.

That's my only concern. The only way to release those type ratchet straps is a sudden drop!

I use 3 100 lbs cam straps. You have to push the top up a little while pulling the strap to raise but it's much easier to lower slowly which I think is more important.
