Alright so I did this last weekend but finally getting around to POST and THANK. Thanks goes out to so many here on the forum I cant list them all. So its a general THANK YOU to ALL who have posted these great MODs and IDEAS. I have a '12 JKU and was very anxious and mostly NERVOUS about my ability, not reading, but doing. Reading the forums and seeing the posts from soooooo many of you my confidence was "Modded"....lol to a level of "lets do this!" With the help of my brother and so many here I can now report that I have successfully added these MODs to my list and this list will only grow even more now!

- Stuffed the Sound bar & Sub with PolyFill (was skeptical on this one......but it WORKS) ($20 for material purchased @ Michaels)
- Hooked up a Sho-Me stobe kit to my A-Pillar Dually D2's & Grill lights ($19.99 purchased through Dave @ Northridge)
- Blinker light Mod (FREE already had the correct connectors to use)
- Drilled the mirrors (FREE)
- Mesh Grille Mod (man what a cool Mod and WOW what a difference)
- Poly Mesh @ Lowes for only $3.98 20' Roll Item# 11632 (find next to the gutter extensions)
- 1x1 Base $16.96 @ Home Depot 100 pck (find near the computer & home cable stuff)
- Gorilla glue @ Lowes Item#152243 $5.47 1 2oz bottle
- 4" zip ties @ Lowes Item#76328 $4.13 100 pck

1) Remove the retaining plugs from the Grill using a flat blade screw driver and some finesse
2) Gently but sternly pull the grill off the front of the jeep
*3) Open 1st bottle of Beer (watch the rain....check local listings)
4) Setup canopy
*5) Open 2nd bottle.......just incase of more rain
6) Lay grill down on cloth covered table and dry place 1x1 bases
7) Unroll the Mesh and begin cutting to fit each separate section *(remember to cut a little larger than the opening so allow for mounting base and zip tie)
*8) Open 3rd bottle and watch rain through to 4th bottle
9) Use the Gorilla glue instead of the 3M tape on the back of the 1x1 bases
10) Now move the Grille and table into the garage (thank you Mother Nature & I'll drink to that.....5th bottle)
11) Place the Glue on the back of the 1x1 base and allow to dry.....about an 1hr works well
12) Place the pre-cut sections from STEP 7 into each opening one at a time (take care to work from corner down to get slack out)
13) Before each section is complete use heat gun to lightly heat up the mesh....being Poly Mesh it will mold and form nicely to the back insert side of the grille
14) Repeat process for the rest of the grille sections
15) Allow about 30 minutes before installing grille onto Jeep.....perfect time for Wings & Pizza andddddd.......oh yeh STEP 16
*16) Open 6th? 7th? bottle and watch more rain
17) For those following along at home and keeping up we are now on Beer #2 and about to finish Grille......lol
18) Re-Insert grille and TOAST to success........or pass out which ever you prefer

I'm sure this one has been mentioned but I just painted my muffler today, used the Rustoleum High Temp paint. Blacked the muffler out and made it disappear!

I'm trying to do the gas pedal mod where you remove the smaller spring to make the pedal more responsive but I'm having a real hard time opening the gas pedal up.
Can anyone please explain how it is done?
Thanks

Will that really help on a drive by wire system?

I havent done it yet, but i want to find a junk trampoline on craigslist and cut the jumpy part ( haha whatever the technical name is) to size and get a grommet kit from harbor freight. Havent looked too deep into it, but its been floating around my head for a bit. Let us know what you decide to do. And post pics!!!

There was a thread with very complete measurements and instructions. I was going to do it but went with spider web in the end.
