I did the same thing, but let mine dry long enough to keep it from sticking. I had to do something the paint on mine was destroyed from the front alignment tabs. I should have gotten the 12 year old to help instead of the nine year old.

This little trick is an excellent idea!
So you can be in the jeep while winching without have the remote cord draped over the outside with the window down or door open a little?
