Painted my hooks red! Roll of tape. And a can of paint, 12$ easy cheep fast. Just tape off good

Amber Side Marker Lights after fender chop
A variation on the Panel Lamps shown on the popular Project-JK fender chop write up, this low cost mod uses sealed amber trailer LED side marker lamps instead. Drill a 3/4" diameter hole in the sheet metal under the front fender where shown, install the supplied rubber grommet & slip the LED lamp into the grommet. Connect to factory wiring. Total cost $16 or less
