Since you guys have been plastidippin' for a while now can you tell me how it's holding up on the grills. Im thinking of pulling the trigger but I don't want to be redoing it every two weeks cuz of rocks and bugs.

I've had my grill dipped for almost 1 year now and never had a issue. No problems yet. And didn't have any touch-up yet

If u think about it, it's the same thing used on the handle if ur favorite pair of pliers. So if u out it on thick enough, it will be durable as hell!

Zinfman, here are some, as usual phone pics tell 500 words to the expected thousand, but the idea should shone thru. I'm also thinking the expanded metal section, throwing on a denser mesh for less visibility thru.

So I'm a creative type and experiment sometimes way too much. That said, I took a dremel to the 2012 stock front bumper center section, same to the metal sheet behind it with some futuristic-ish motif, and (temporary, and only cause I cants afford led driving lights just yet) wire-tied the fogs backwards to shine some light at night to Jeep's unique suspension and my precise tire placement (and for any crawlers that live in rockier states, as FL knows our trails are called "beaches" and "mud holes") when i daily. Cut to fit expanded metal grille to hole. Oh, also painted the Stock warthog horns body color.
Overall it's gotten abt an hours worth of smiling convos and miles of pointing (index, not middle). I kinda like it, has a classic sting-ray-split-bumper shout out or whatever, and keeps insurance happy since the center section has no structural significance like the sides do if when i never rear end anything.
So, nice cheep mod or was the beer to much?

I already commented on that thread. It was a nice job in the bumper. Very cool. My comment if say what referred to ur post about pics being about 500 words etc...etc... And the photos were of at night lighting. Didn't seem to make sense with the comments. Anywazzzzzz
Nice work on the bumper creation.
