Painted the axle, truss and gussets with black engine paint and drilled my door handles.

are you talking about a cap for where the mirror was on the door? I made some today but I'm only 90% happy, I made my own by cutting a 4" round plate but I didn't weld the 3/8 shields on too good, They are a bit off centre. Enough to still see the line the base of the mirror makes, Also on the passenger side I was spaced out and tightened too much so the plate bent a bit. Nice from a-far but far from nice... :(
Luckily it cost me nothing, I would love a better solution to get them shields to be perfectly in line.

Homemade brake line extensions with crap laying around. Gonna slit some.hose and wrap the rubbers in case they start to contact anything.
