Yes shorter is worse. Each channel has an ideal antenna length based on the wavelength of the carrier signal. 98Mhz about the center of the dial will have a wavelength around 119 inches. So the best possible reception is with 119 inch antenna. A little long so you shorten it in multiples, typically a 1/4 wavelength. so most FM antenna are from 29 to 31 inches. If you do shorten it stick to a multiple of the wavelength, a 1/8 wavelength would be about 14 7/8. Shorter favors lower channels longer favors higher channels.

Seriously man, the pictures are a mess.

Take my word for it, though. These new bulbs are much better than the stock lights...

LOL! That picture I posted was supposed to be a "before" picture of the stock bulbs. The new bulbs are actually 6000K color, so they're a much brighter white.

I really need to do some research on how to take good pictures of lights....

I just saw that yours is a 2013. Crap. I need to see if these fit a 2012.
