Hey I like that mirror idea. How's the visibility when the doors are on? The main thing I don't like about the RR relocation bracket is the right side-view mirror becomes useless with the doors on.

With losing the folding capability of the original bracket, are you concerned about bumping a tree? Seems like it wouldn't take much for that the bend the light bracket or crack the plastic mirror housing.

Visbility is great on drivers side, almost non existant on passenger side, worse when doors are on. My idea though is thats its much easier to see your passenger side blind spot than you drivers side, and I have the center rear view mirror angled slightly to see more of the passenger side. I will also be mounting the AEV snorkel this weekend so I'll be pulling off the passenger side anyway, possibly re-mounting it somewhere else...

Side note: you could mount a small round mirror to the outside of the passenger mirror for a wider field of view.

And yeah, guess they might get torn off by a tree, and likely will.

Haha yup it will be. I was at Uwharrie last weekend and had to be real careful. But of course they come off very easily so I'll just pull them off next time I go wheelin
