Yea I went to a bed liner shop and they said it wouldn't stick because of the plastic used to make it. sounded more like they didn't want to do it to me.

That's more of the reason. There's been several guys here to have had Line-X do their top. And even more guys that have done it themselves.

lazy and probably not enough surface area for them to WANT to do the job...personally they COULD have charged you more based on the time/labor involved in such small parts.

SKUFF it or SAND it w/ Heavy grit sand paper & ANYTHING will stick to it.

think about this...MANY car bumpers are plastic...and theyre painted BETTER than any bed liner needs to be.
even those POS plastic Saturn cars are painted !

Bed lined the inside of my hard top with Herculiner. Used what I had left from the tub. Just cleaned it and applied it.

Did you have any issues with the herculiner sticking to the plastic top? Heard that bed liner would not stick properly, but I would still ike to put bedline on the top.

You should use Lizard skin it is designed as a heat and sound insulator. It applied great to my hard top no issues sticking

Well it got cold out then Christmas came around and I still haven't finished. I will update as soon as it warms up enough to finish painting. I hope I can do it the week I need to get the top on for the winter.
