Could you post a couple pics of where you cut, where you put this in, and where you have it dumping or exiting?

Took me a few minutes to tell, but i like how you reused the old pipe. I was worried I'd have to buy a new exit. I really like how you have it dumping behindish the axle.

Those pics just sold it for me i think.

With your sound... Do you get any drone? How's the lower RPM range for you? See any gain in mpg? Lol. Overall, how do you like it? Worth the $73?

No drone. Nice mellow rumble at idle and you can barely hear it at highway speed. I think I lost a little low end from the lack of back pressure but I'm hoping a superchip will get the low end back. After I changed to 33" tires I don't even pay attention to mpg. Worth every penny. As far as the install I just cut about 20" out of the stock pipe and slid the new muffler in place.

Don't remember the model #, but I got the part # for the muffler on the rock krawler cat back kit and bought the muffler from Jegg's for $70. Did it all myself and welded up the muffler and a tip.

When doors-off driving, I've had a problem with the rear carpeting coming loose and nearly blowing away, but took care of it with two 1/4-20 bolts. On my 2008 4-door, there's a 6mm hole on the inside wall, just behind each rear door latch. I drilled a hole through the carpet over these holes, and shoved/screwed the bolts in (it was a tight fit, but widening the holes wasn't necessary in my case). I secured each bolt with a locking washer and nut, then tucked the top corner of the carpet back in place. That location was the weakest link - once a strong highway gale pulled it loose, the rest of the carpet would inflate out of its seams. With those two bolts in place, it's not going anywhere - not bad for $2!

If it wants to come out, you should let it come out. Bedliner ftw
