I can't believe I've missed this for this long.

I've done some of these just from seeing random mentions, nice compiled list. Maybe we can have the list cleaned up, and some of the thread links updated/explanations added on how, or why.

I haven't done it yet, but the wire fits down under the tray, from there...power aplenty!
I mounted it back so you really don't even see the wire.

I flipped the mirror like you guys suggested but it didn't seem to make a difference.

Default Mirror flip

A friend was riding with me the other day whan I started complaining about the rear view mirror being in my way. He reached out, Spun the mirror around so the dimmer lever was pointing at the roof. Now my mirror is tucked up against the header bar. I felt a little stupid because I had tried removing the whole thing and messing with it with no success.

Here is a pic of mine. I didn't use as much line as he did but it should still work.
If your window is real cold from snow and you use this you might crack the windshield. I had my defrost on hi heat when I was removing the snow of the jeep and when I got in a crack from one side to the other.
