I think the plasti dip would work too- I sort of thought about a piece of leather or Velcro- then it would be more than DD rated- jeep on!!

Any good cheap snorkels for the 2012. Or is their any do it your selfs.

Rugged Ridge has a pretty inexpensive option that doesn't require chopping body panels and will even fix half of your "dimple mod" if you've been blessed enough by the Jeep Gods to receive. They offer it for the 3.8 currently and the 3.6 is soon to come, last I had heard.

Wow that's awesome! Great idea! I have a ton of tool box liner left over. I may need to try this.

I was researching things like the " Pull Pal " as a self winching recovery tool. Has anyone made one of these themselves? I'm thinking I have a good idea on a cheap build or mod. I was just wondering if it's been done and if they have pictures to bounce a few ideas off?

That seems like a bit of a risky situation. You would be risking your jeep (and maybe your life) on a home made design...
