Ditto on the placement. So much easier to access & don't have to worry about growing legs & wandering off when Jeep's doorless.

Yeah, I had posted about putting my maglight on the sound bar a few months back. I love it there, easy to get to, and like you said, harder to steal without being noticed, never rattled or anything....until...LOL. I just installed two 12" Fosgate subs and and a Fosgate amp in the back, and it rattles the hell out of the batteries in that maglight. I've had to take it down and lay it in the seat if I wanted to crank it up loud.

I want to add a system just not sold on putting a box in the back with golf clubs and my hard top panels. I thought about building my own low profile boxes and putting them on the tire wells or under the back seats.

my safari straps help keep hands out, I found keeping the maglite on the tailgate works great for meClick image for larger version

Wrap the batteries in duck tape and they won't rattle
