Default loud snapping sound in front end after lift.

I can't use search on my phone so I had to make a new thread.

Anyway I still have this problem and cannot figure it out.

Only when the brakes are applied, I get a loud snap in the from end.that sounds like two pieces of metal striking eachother and seems to originate at the driver side front tire but I could be wrong.

It does not happen all the time, usually it doesn't happen but I can get it.to happen if I pull into a parking spot quickly and hit the brakes.

I retorqued all control arms/shocks/sway bar. I don't see an issue with the brakes...

The only thing I need to re torque is the upper trackbar. It is tight but was not done with tire on the ground. I don't see why this would cause it though.

Dont ask me how I know this , but depending upon the bushings in your lift, did install "ALL" spacers in the control arms or track bar bushings?

I only did the basic lift.

Front trackbar, shocks, springs. Rear bracket. And discos.

The only pushing would be the trackbar...il double check but it should all be fine...

Could it be your calipers sticking as they get older and more rusty.

Probably a bolt hole wallowing out on a frame side control arm bracket. Mine does the same thing. Look around the bolt head and see if it has been moving.

If it is a bolt hole than yes its easy to repair. Welding washes on to the control ARM brackets should stop it.
