Default loss of height with LoD rear bumper and carrier?

i did a search but couldnt find an answer in the posts i went through. anyway, in anticipation of installing the shorty LoD gen2 bumper/tire carrier/gerry can mounts/trail rack, i will also mount my hilift and perhaps a shovel and axe on there also. im wondering what size spacers (if any) i should get to supplement my TF 2.5" coil lift with shocks, so im not too saggy in the rear. thanks in advance. running the OEM front bumper that i stubbied.

a pair of 3/4" spacers should do the trick. just have a grown man stand on the back of your jeep and you will see approximately how much lift you will loose.

do you have the trail rack and gerry cans with a hilift mounted also? im thinking that those added items (especially full gerry cans) might sag it another 1/4" or so.

I lost at the very most 1/4" off my OME HD coils with the full size LoD rear tire carrier bumper & my 33x12.50 tire. I was actually expecting more as I still have a decent rake I may need to add a 1/2" spacer at the front to level it out.

same here. I put a 1" teraflex spacer up front to level it out after the winch went on.

I just put one on after I installed rear OME springs. I cannot tell any difference yet (springs haven't settled yet). If I lost any, its less than 1/2 if any with those HD springs.

Mine dropped noticeably (where the rear sat lower than the front) , but i just threw in some coil spacers, and no worries.

just wanted to respond to this for future reference. upon inspecting my rear coils, i found that the factory rear isolators were not replaced after the TF coil lift was installed, so i was about alittle less than 1/4 low in the rear to begin with. i talked to TF and found that the rear spring guide included with the 2.5" coil lift is 1/2" thick. i replaced that spring guide with a 1" TF spacer and replaced the rear factory isolator. so basically I added about 3/4" to the rear and it leveled out perfectly.

mine dropped a good 3/4" to 1" with the bumper, jerry cans and my 35" toyo. I put a 1" coil spacer in the front and a 1 3/4" in the rear and it sat level.
