I'm trying so hard to get that factory ride back. I first noticed I didn't need to torque the upper control arm's 125 lbs. (75 lbs.). So I went and did the lower control arms 75 lbs. as well, thinking this could be because of the Energy Control Arm Bushing I put in a few moths ago (Didn't help).

So what I got from the threat is Aev drop control arm brackets are the answer. Does anyone have feed back on these Rusty's front control arms as far as ride quality?

PS: We are taking a cross country trip and I don't wanting to do it with my tires at 26 psi.

I agree with the above, A lot of it will equate to your tires also.

How did this work out for you?

I just got back from Las Vegas and still got the harshest ride a Jeep can give you at 26 tire pressure. Get this the AEV brackets are not recommended for my 2" lift. Mine measures only 5 1/2" an they say 7" min.?

Those are old instructions. Their new brackets are set up for 2.5" lifts too. 5.5" to 6.5" required for the 2.5" setting.

I don't think its the control arm geometry, but the springs I'm going to take the front shocks off tomorrow and take it for a short spin. Just to make sure its not the valving of my 2k shocks.

Where do you buy the Rancho drop brackets?

You have a 2" lift ? Yea ... Not enough to effect geometry. My vote is shocks.

The Rancho brackets are new and venders are just starting to offer them.
