Thanks to all for your replies. Looks like Shrockworks is what I have been looking for. I just went out to their web site. They had some good pic's that gave some up close shots. And yes, it's

Yeah, I just called them, since I have some on order (that should be done next week ). Jim pointed out that the stock rails weigh about 80 pounds, and don't do anything but look good once his are added, so I'm going to go w/just one set and save the weight. Using both also requires them to lower theirs an inch or 2, so you end up w/less clearance.

Plus, I have a buyer lined up for the stock rails.

Clearance to what? They don't drop below the frame, and you're not going to catch anything at that angle that you wouldn't get anyway... As for weight I think he was talking about their rails. I don't see how the stock ones could weigh anywhere near that.

To me the stock rails do a few things in addition to the Shrockworks ones:
  1. Hide the pinch seam
  2. Protect from the occasional rock on a gravel road
  3. Protect the body if something ever happened and the rails gave out
But, hey if that's what you want then go for it! Especially if you have a buyer. I had a buyer during the process of my order and when that fell through I made the change so that I could keep the stock ones. I'm glad I did.

Default Thanks

I've got some thinking to do. Your setup looks great. (I couldn't see the pix yesterday - my company blocks flickr).I'm going to call Shrockworks back today since it sounds like I misunderstood what Jim said.
