I know it wasn't on your list but I'll throw a bone out for the Falken Wild Peaks/Rocky Mountain ATS. I have these on my JK in the 37" size. The ride great, wear like iron, and are very good offroad and onroad. The only downfall is that they don't "look" like an aggressive tire, but really...when you get to a 37"...doesn't it all look aggressive?
I have an '04 Excursion that I'm putting a 5" kit on and will be putting these on that as well. I love them...plus they are just over 300 bucks a tire from Discount tire direct with free shipping.

You didn't mention the Cooper STT and maybe you have already decided not to go in this direction for some reason but they are a well built tire and as far as performance right up there with the Nitto, Mickey's or Toyo's in my opinion. Tough sidewall, look tough, good tread wear etc etc. I have the 35's and love them. Am considering moving up to 37's as well and would surely stick with the STT's although I will do a similar comparison. Give them a look if you haven't already.

I have looked at those. The only reason i did not include them is that three different off road tire shops told me that the tread wear was not quite as long as the others mentioned. I love the look and that they have a white letter side. Love the white letters with my white jeep

I am nowhere near this size range but I have found in my area that Nittos will go on sale in small shops. I got my tires for about 50$ less each installed for free when I went with the local wheel shop and talked it up with the guy for a bit. As in the wheel shop that sells used tires, 20 inch rims for buick's pay cash etc etc. Only seen this with Nittos as I tried to negotiate some other brands and I got Trail Grapplers and Terra Grapplers for 2 cars like this. They will have the best deals. The tire wholesaler supplying his shop really has alot of price control and can give him breaks for sales. If you read about it there is a huge markup in tire wholesale as the tires come from the West Coast to big distribution shops. Deals at the Big Brand shops on crazy tires... very rare, the core business there is minivans and mommy mobiles etc as far as I can tell. Websites, I beat their numbers by 50$ per tire plus install for free and no shipping. That was basically one tire free when I bought 5. Again I've done this for my Wrangler and my Tacoma and I got a steal each time on Nittos. My Terras have lasted 45K and have more than 50% tread left on a light truck with steady rotation, so I'm sold on them, we will see how the Trail Grapplers do on a heavy truck like a Wrangler Unlimited 5K looks great.

I have had VERY good luck with the Goodyear Duratrac. I have had all of the ones you like. For the price and length of life on the tire you can't beat the Duratrac. They do very well off road as well.

GY MTRK
NItto TG
Mickey Thompson MTZ
Other Options that fit

Thanks for the opinions

Currently on 37 km2s. Seen and heard a lot on toyo mt's. KM2s have worked well. Not pleased with the less then advertised size and susceptible sidewalls. Id do toyo next time.

That is my issue with them as i am on 37 km now (36) one issue with the toyo is width/weight. 93 lbs and the spec says 14.6" wide!! I know there are a ton of toyo guys on here, can someone on 37s comment on that width?
