Normally when you go in a professional shop for OFFROAD the garage have the good tools for balancing tire. When I have installed my tire I have rolled my tires a good two weeks before balancing and I is not terrible.

Love my Mickey MTZ's now I don't have 37's I have 35" but look great, handles well on and off road. No problems at all on the hiway.

That is good to hear. The only place i have ever liked the barb wire design was on Barb Wire's (Pam Anderson) left arm, mainly because it was mere inches from her monster cans.

These are my number one choice. Concerns here are tread life and $$

You are an auto w/ 4.10s on 37s right now? How is the drivability? I have 2012 JKR manual 4.10s and I am ready to go up in tire size - installing a 3.5 RK kit this week - but I am shying away from the 37s since I've heard I had to regear. I don't want to spend 1500 on regearing, blah.

No need to regear. There is plenty of get up left. With the new engine, geats become a performance preference instead of a drivabilty necessity.

And the price I paid puts them in the range of cheaper tires for my size (315/75/16).

Its a heavy tire but they seem to be a top choice for hardcore guys here on JKF. I know a lot of people have done the Nittos because they a generally the cheaper Toyo option but its worth seeing if the 37's are following the same pricing phenomenom that the 35's are right now.
I looked breifly last night and the toyo seemed to be more expensive. Not by much, but about $20 per. I will keep checking on them, thanks

Mickey Thompson Mtz or Atz. Great tires never a problem Sone people with the good years say they have problems and they would never buy them again. I've never heard anything bad about Mickey thompsons. I have 45000 kms on mine with still 50% tread on them and I wheel it.

I would also be concerned with the weak sidewalls on these tires if you plan on wheeling on rocks. Lighter tires compromise strengh for efficiency
