Looking for mild lift that does not level out stance
We are considering a mild lift for our JK Unlimited X. Some of the post on lifts state that it leveled out the stance of the JK. Specifically that it raised the front more than the back. We do not want to do this since we keep a lot of camping gear and other items in the back and it looks leveled out already.
It seems that I have read that the Daystar 1-3/4" lifts are one of those that level out the stance. Do the Teraflex or Full Traction Lifts do this as well? Or are their 2” lifts truly 2” front and back?

The Daystar does not level out the front. Both spacers are exactly the same size, I actually measured them before I put them on. I left it the way it is, because in the winter when the hardtop and seat go back in, it will sit more level.

Hmm, 2.5" is just a little more than I am looking for. I have a disability and do not want to make it too difficult to get into the Jeep. Also, with 33" tires, I do want to keep the lift rather mild. Maybe I will go with the Daystar kit. Any other 1.5 to 2" kits that do not level out the Jeep? I just checked and the Full Traction kit levels it out.

Go with the 2.5. It's perfect for 33"s. In addition you get brake line brackets so you can flex with no worries. After all the reading, I'm convinced the 2.5 with shock extensions is the best of the budget boosts.
2.5 is not too much of a lift. (personally, I wish I had 3" with my 33's. Then, I could go w/ 35"s when the 33's are ready for replacement)
If you do go w/ 2.5" I recommend checking out the BDS rear track bar bracket. It's beefy as hell and mounts to the frame vs the axle where others are having troubles. It kind of slide into the stock bracket, so it's reinforced.
Good luck with what ever you decide.
