i dont have a fuel door but a lockable fuel cap. mopar one. works super. when its locked it turns freely so you cant open it. and i think even if the door is bolted in plastic its fine. its not gona fly away on the highway .

I have the Mopar one. There's also the Rugged Ridge, which I think is pretty similar except it doesn't say Jeep. They're a bit tough to get on, but once in place they are sufficiently secure. The tough part, BTW, is getting the rubber gasket around the fuel line neck. Probably the best part of these is keeping mud out of this area when you go wheeling. Beyond that, they're more for looks than anything else.

you just need to have those key with your jeep keys alone. never put house and other keys with ( car ) keys. so you cant forget you keys in it you need them to start the jeep

ps ( some days my english is good some days its not... and im tired. ) sorry

I also have a black Jk and got the black Mopar cover. Quite easy to install, took about 20 minutes. Used a bit of vaseline on the neck seal, and it slipped on very easily. Great in the winter to keep the ice snow and slush out of the cap area.

Thats why I got the Mopar locking gas cap that uses your ignition key instead of some extra key. Since I always take my key out of the ignition and put it in my pocket (*) I never have a problem. Kinda pricey but worth it IMHO. Part # is #05015636AB

(*) I've seen too many people lock their keys in their car at the gas station. I'd hate to join their ranks.
