I'm leaning toward recon I think. Engo is a close second but still haven't heard anything bad about recon. Need one soon. Two tacks are finally opening up here in the far north.

I have had my smittybilt for 7 years and have abused the hell out of it. Its still running strong and never had any issues.

Aw man. This thread is making me wish I had a winch bumper. Had no idea there were good winches like that for such a bargain. My RR XHD has no winch mount tho :(

Don't you just need to purchase the winch plate? It's like $130.

So I'm guessing RECON's winches are much better quality than their lights? I've heard hell stories about their lights and customer service.

Umm maybe. But if I were to have one I'd want it recessed in the bumper. Not sure how the winch plate works
